Federico Castaign

Landlord Z

Between March 1991 and March 1993 Landlord Z was stabled at Studfarm Zangersheide. Under Piet Raymakers and later Nol Boerekamps he jumped some 30 competitions before he was sold to Argentina. As Lost Boys Landlord Z the stallion was part of the Argentine team at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, ridden by Federico Castaign. Up until and including 1997 Landgraf produced 995 offspring that are active in the sport and registered with the German Equestrian Federation, 224 of which (15 dressage and 209 showjumping horses) at S-level, which is a success of 22.5 % (by comparison: Lord scores 26%, Corde 18.3%).

Landlord`s dam Laba Z is by the posthumously appreciated Sacramento Song xx (23.6% S-level sport products) who was always mated so remarkably well with Wahnfried daughters (see Sandro Z). In Landlord`s pedigree Sacramento Song xx is combined with one of the twelve daughters of Kosak, the Korenbleem xx son of which no less than 30% of the few offspring he was allowed to generate developed into S-level sport horses. Behind Sacramento Song xx-Kosak-Garant-Major-Ammon we find the beginnings of lineage 5359 in ancestor number 9074, the chestnut mare Wachtel (by Günther Han.) born in 1900 in Pratjau (near Plön in `Swiss Holstein`).
